Visit somewhere invented, then draw a postcard from the middle of the adventure.
Give it a go
- Choose an invented destination together. Decide on one thing that makes it unusual, such as streets made of clouds or a library under the sea.
- Draw a picture of that place on one side of the sheet. Use the pencil for any outlines you want, then add color.
- Turn the sheet over. Draw a line down the middle and add an imaginary stamp in one corner. No cutting is needed.
- Tell a short message about the visit. An adult can write down the words, or the message can be another picture. Read or describe the postcard to an imaginary recipient.
